A distribution board is where your electricity supply comes in and gets divided up between everything in the building. It holds the main switch, the circuit breakers and the earth leakage protection. When something goes wrong anywhere in the building, this is the box that stops it becoming a fire.
Most contractors order a standard board and make the building fit it. We do it the other way round. We build boards ourselves, in our own workshop in Windhoek, which means the board matches your actual load, your actual layout and your actual plans for expansion — and we can check every connection ourselves before it ever leaves us.

How a board gets made.
- We work out the real loadNot a guess. We add up what the building actually draws, and leave sensible room for what you might add later.
- We design the layoutCircuits grouped logically, labelled in plain language, with the components sized and specified properly.
- We build it in our workshopAssembled and wired by our own people, under our own quality checks, before it goes anywhere near your site.
- We test, install and label itThe board is tested, installed, and left with a schedule on the door so anyone can see what feeds what.

- Why does an in-house board matter to me?Three reasons: it fits your building instead of roughly fitting it, we control the quality of every connection, and if something ever needs changing we built it and we know it.
- How do I know if my board needs replacing?Common signs: breakers that trip for no clear reason, no earth leakage protection, a board with no labels, scorch marks, or a board so full there is no room to add a circuit. Any of those is worth a look.
- Can you upgrade a board without rewiring the building?Usually yes. In most buildings the existing wiring is fine and it is only the board that has aged or been outgrown. We can tell you after an inspection.
- How big can you go?We have built and installed panels up to 1000A. For anything beyond that, or anything on the supply side, see high-voltage work.
